The Škoda Citigo is a city car produced by Czech automobile manufacturer Škoda Auto since 2011. It is available as a three-door or five-door hatchback. The Citigo is a rebadged variant of the Volkswagen Up and SEAT Mii, all using the VW NSF platform. It was manufactured at the Volkswagen Plant in Bratislava, Slovakia. 37,100 units were sold within Europe during 2017.[1] The Citigo was slightly updated with a facelift model in 2017. In autumn 2020, Škoda terminated the sale of Citigo electric cars, there was too much interest in it and the company did not manage to deliver cars to suppliers.[2]
Škoda Citigo-e iV
A fully electric version, the Škoda Citigo-e iV, with a 36.8kWh battery capacity and a range of 270 km (165 miles) under WLTP standard, is mass produced from autumn 2019.[3] It is the first all-electric car of Škoda Auto and replaced the combustion engine version.
