Engineering:China Eagle GY-SMS

From HandWiki

China Eagle GY-SMZ multicopters are Chinese unmanned multirotors developed by Beijing China Eagle Aviation Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (China Eagle, 北京国鹰航空科技有限公司), some of which have been deployed by Chinese military, local law enforcement and other governmental establishments.

GY-SMS-300

GY-SMS-300 is a quadcopter developed by China Eagle with a pair of skids as landing gear. For rapid deployment, the batteries of GY-SMS-300 can be changed in less than a minute. Navigation is provided by DGPS.[1] Specification:[2]

  • Empty weight (kg): 1.3
  • Payload (kg): 0.5
  • Max take-off weight (kg): 1.7
  • Rate of climb (m/s): 5
  • Ceiling (km): 3
  • Cruise speed (km/h): 60
  • Control radius (km): 10 – 15
  • Endurance (min): 33 with 0.2 kg payload
  • Max wind scale allowed for operation: 8
  • Max relative humidity allowed for operation: 80%
  • Temperature allowed for operation (°C): - 40 to 60
  • Temperature allowed for storage (°C): - 50 to 70
  • Propulsion: Four 250 W brushless electrical motors with output totaling 106 N

GY-SMS-800

GY-SMS-800 is a hexacopter developed by China Eagle with a pair of skids as landing gear. Navigation is provided by Neuron navigational system indigenously developed by China Eagle itself.[3] Specification:[4]

  • Empty weight (kg): 3.1
  • Payload (kg): 2.5
  • Max take-off weight (kg): 6
  • Rate of climb (m/s): 5
  • Ceiling (km): 3
  • Cruise speed (m/s): 15
  • Max wind scale allowed for operation: 5
  • Max relative humidity allowed for operation: 90%
  • Temperature allowed for operation (°C): - 40 to 60
  • Propulsion: Six 300 W brushless electrical motors with output totaling 129 N

GY-SMS-1000

GY-SMS-1000 is a quadcopter developed by China Eagle with a pair of skids as landing gear. GY-SMS-1000 is the larger cousin of the smaller GY-SMS-300. GY-SMS-1000 is constructed of carbon fiber composite and Kevlar, with technology imported from German firm Schübeler Composite. GY-SMS-1000 has better performance than German MicroDrones series MD4-200 and MD4-1000 in that GY-SMS-1000 has greater payload and better resistance to wind.[5] Specification:[6]

  • Empty weight (kg): 2.65
  • Payload (kg): 1.2
  • Max take-off weight (kg): 5.55
  • Rate of climb (m/s): 7.5
  • Ceiling (km): 4
  • Cruise speed (m/s): 15
  • Max wind scale allowed for operation: 5
  • Max relative humidity allowed for operation: 90%
  • Temperature allowed for operation (°C): - 40 to 60
  • Propulsion: Four 250 W brushless electrical motors with output totaling 176 N
