HP Dev One running Fedora 36
HP Dev One is a Linux laptop designed by HP Inc. in collaboration with System76 and AMD,[1] available since June 2022. The laptop is designed for software developers, and includes a Super key in place of the traditional Windows key.[2][3] Pop! OS is preinstalled on the Dev One.
This laptop has an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro CPU with 16 GB RAM (user-upgradeable to 64 GB). There is a 1 TB SSD for storage, and the display rating is 1,000 nits. Above the webcam, there is a sliding cover which fully blocks the camera's view. A pointing stick is included on the keyboard.[4]
The Dev One is the 3rd OEM to ship Linux on laptops. Dell XPS Developer edition ships with Ubuntu[5][6], and some Lenovo ThinkPads ship with Fedora Linux.[7]
