Folding hexamine stove with packaged fuel

A hexamine stove, or hexi-stove, is a cooking stove that uses hexamine fuel tablets.[1] The fuel tablets are also known as hexamethyl-enetetramine, methenamine,[1] "hexi tabs" or even simply "tabs". Hexi-stoves are commonly used for emergency situations as well as being issued to military service members in the field. It acts as a platform for cooking and windbreak for cooking if flipped upside down.[1] The hexamine stove is designed to fold into a compact size for storage and transport. They can be used either with the folding legs either up or down. Another important feature is that if the correct fuel is used, the stove is designed to fold around the tablets to protect them from damage during transport and storage.
