The LWF T-3 was an United States eight-passenger transport biplane built for the United States Army Air Service by the Lowe, Willard & Fowler Engineering Company.[1] Designated T-3 by the Army it was a conventional biplane powered by a 400 hp (298 kW) Liberty 12A engine.[2] It had an open cockpit for the pilot and an enclosed cabin for eight passengers.[1] Only one T-3 was built and delivered to the Army in 1923, it was later designated XT-3 and used as an engine test bed.[1] A further nine T-3s on order were cancelled and not built.[1]
