Engineering:Sha-Mail
From HandWiki
Sha-Mail (写メール) is a kind of mailing service of J-Phone (now Softbank). This term is made from Sha, which is the front part of a Japanese word Shashin meaning photograph, and Mail. Sha-Mail is used to send pictures and/or email through mobile handsets.
Vodafone acquired J-Phone in 2000. At same time, Vodafone introduced Vodafone Live as global service. MMS is message service of Vofafone Live. J-Phone proprietary Sha-Mail never got 3G. When 2G service faded out, Sha-Mail also faded out.
