Snooper is a UK brand of Aftermarket Automotive Electronic products. Namely GPS navigation systems, Dash Cams, speed camera locators & Radar detector systems for cars, HGV vehicles, Motorhomes and caravans. Snooper is owned by In Phase International Ltd. Based in Nottingham United Kingdom.
History
Established in 1979, Snooper pioneered the development of speed camera detector systems. Snooper has developed a number of sub brands, dedicated to specific markets within GPS Satellite Navigation. In July 2007, Snooper launched its market leading brand Truckmate, providing Professional Satellite Navigation for Trucks and Commercial Vehicles.
In 2009 Snooper UK is the first sat nav manufacturer to use live feedback from the drivers [1] to detect speed cameras, users can update each other when they spot a mobile trap.[2]
