The Sungri 61NA is a medium-duty truck (Class 5) produced by the Sungri Motor Plant in North Korea since 1979, as the company's replacement for the Sungri 61 truck, but the 61NA is little more than just a re-styled version of the original Sungri-61, with just an updated and re-styled cab, since it shares the same chassis and engine.
The truck shares the same cab as the lighter Sungri-58KA truck, which in itself is a re-styled version of the Sungri-58, a locally built version of the GAZ-51 truck. The 58KA truck was discontinued somewhere in the 1990s, but the 61NA is still in production,[1][2] despite being very outdated compared to 2020-2021 vehicle standards.
