Engineering:Tunabot

From HandWiki

Tunabot is a robotic fish created by mechanical engineers at the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science in collaboration with biologists from Harvard University. It is the first to be able to accurately mimic the behavior of the yellowfin tuna.[1]

The robot was first published on September 18, 2019 in Science Robotics. According to Hilary Bart-Smith, a member of the project, the purpose of Tunabot is to better understand the physics involved in fish propulsion.[1]
