Glassbox
From HandWiki
Glassbox is a mobile analytics firm that processes and analyzes mobile phone data on iOS and Android operating systems.
In February 2019, TechCrunch reported that numerous popular applications in the iOS App Store used Glassbox to record users' activities without the users' informed consent, which compromised users' privacy and contravened the rules of the iOS App Store.[1][2][3][4] In response, Apple told app developers that if they continued to flout the rules of the iOS App Store, their apps would be removed from it.[5][6][7] The affected apps included ones published by Expedia, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hotels.com, Air Canada, Hollister, and Singapore Airlines.[8]
