jWork.ORG is a web portal [1] focusing on knowledge discovery topics and related software primary written in Java and scripting languages. jWork.ORG was founded by Dr. S.Chekanov in 2005 with the goal to promote "promote scientific computing for science and education".

The portal survives on donations and membership fees that go to web services, documentation projects and user support. Certain projects hosted on this portal require membership fees for certain advanced features of the supported programs, which go to "web services, documentation projects and user support".

jWork.ORG runs "Software listing catalogue" with more than 1000 software articles, active user's blogs, forums, programming tutorials on the MediaWiki platform. The portal features user registration for posting articles and blogs, as well as links user's web pages with their software.

JWork.ORG is a publication platform. Articles on jWork.Org are posted by the users after registration. The history of the posts can be traced to 2014.
