jPort is an application launcher for portable Java applications. jPort creates a Java enabled menu to launch dozens of free applications. Unlike other platform-specific portable applications, jPort provides a multiplatform desktop environment with best Java applications that run on Windows, Mac OS, Linux and other systems.

jPort does not require Internet connection, as long as the application is activated. You do need the Internet access when activating the product. You need also Internet to install portable PJP programs from online database. Here are the main feature of this portable application:

  • Runs on any platform where Java is installed
  • Automatic updates
  • Fully portable (can run from USB)
  • Runs on Windows/Mac/Linux

JPort supports up to 180 Java applications (retrieved in 2019). A demo version includes about 20 free Java programs. All programs are stored in the JPJ file format which is z ZIP compression with the necessary files to deploy self-contained jar files.

License

jPort is a shareware product. You can use it without activation, but the original package contains only several Java applications. The source code of jPort has a proprietary license, therefore, we do not provide the source code. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble jPort. A complete license agreement comes with the jPort application (see the "Preferences")
