Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (COSQC) is an agency of the Government of Iraq which promotes standardization and quality control.

COSQC is part of the Ministry of Planning of Iraq. COSQC belongs to the International Organization for Standardization.[1]

There are about 450 manpower in COSQC

All the work is done by specialized laboratories and staff of engineers, chemists, physicists, biologists, administrative and others.

Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (COSQC) in Iraq consists of three directorates directly connected to the president of the Organization and each headed by a general director and are as follows:

  • Directorate of Standardization
  • Directorate of Quality Control
  • Directorate of Administrative and Technical services
