Organization:IBM Austin Research Laboratory

From HandWiki

The IBM Austin Research Laboratory (ARL) was one of the research labs within IBM Research. It was operational from 1995 to 2018.

The lab was located at 11501 Burnet Road in Austin, Texas , and was primarily focused on high-speed microprocessor design, hardware design and simulation, software-defined networking, analytics, and mobility. In addition, projects in diverse areas, such as flood prediction[1] and cancer therapy,[2] have been developed in the lab.

While the ARL was closed in 2018, many research scientists still work at IBM Austin, which is one of IBM's largest campuses with nearly 6,000 employees.[3]
