Meritus University also known as MeritusU or simply MU is the Canadian brand name of a for-profit university owned and operated by the Apollo Group in the United States, the owners of the University of Phoenix. The offices of the company are located in New Brunswick, Canada .[1] The University has 7,000 full-time students, including about 2,000 international students from a variety of countries. The Meritus University has nine faculties, including the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Engineering, School of Business, the Faculty of Graduate Studies, the Faculty of Human Kinetics, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Nursing, and the Faculty of Science. Through its faculties and independent schools, the university has demonstrated its primary research focuses of automotive, environmental, social justice, and international trade research. In recent years, it has increasingly begun focusing on health, natural science, and entrepreneurship research. Meritus University employs 291 faculty, 89 administration staff and 224 support staff and has graduated more than 10,000 students.

School of Business

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree program with specializations in Communications, Finance, Global Management, Hospitality Management, Human Resources Management, Integrated Supply Chain Management, Management, and Marketing.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program with specializations in Global Management, Health Care Management, Human Resources Management, Information and Communications Technology Management, and Marketing.

School of Information Technology

  • Bachelor of Information Technology Management (BITM) degree program with specializations in Communication and Information Management, Digital Media Management, and Human Interface and Systems Management.
