Yorkville University is a for-profit university established in 2003 under the New Brunswick Degree Granting Act.[1] The university accepted its first students in the fall of 2004 for the programs offered out of Fredericton, New Brunswick, which was at the time the only establishment under Yorkville University. The university has since launched brick-and-mortar campuses in Concord, Ontario and Vancouver , British Columbia.[2]

Academics

Yorkville University has been granted authority to offer degree programs in three provinces.[3]

A. Ontario, Canada

Programs offered include:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Project Management
  • Bachelor of Interior Design

B. British Columbia, Canada

Programs offered include:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Accounting
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Project Management

C. New Brunswick, Canada

Programs offered include:

  • Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology
  • Master of Education in Adult Education
    • This program has been accredited by the Canadian Society for Training and Development (CSTD).[4]
  • Master of Education in Educational Leadership
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Campuses

Yorkville does not have a traditional campus. All three locations are in office or business park settings:

  • Fredericton, New Brunswick - a two-storey building located at 100 Woodside Lane
  • Concord, Ontario - Campus is located at the former RCC Institute of Technology and shared with the Toronto Film School at 2000 Steeles Avenue West
  • Vancouver, British Columbia - 88 Sixth Street, Suite 300, New Westminster
