Physics:Radiative corrections
From HandWiki
The corrections to theoretical predictions in high-energy physics which are due to Feynman diagrams containing additional emitted field quanta, usually photons or gluons. The additional diagrams may contain loops, i.e. reabsorption of virtual quanta (vertex corrections, vacuum polarization), or describe bremsstrahlung-like emission of real quanta (internal bremsstrahlung).
The radiative corrections are strongly dependent on the reaction studied. For literature and an available program for e+e-, see Berends83 and Berends82. Expressions for ep and scattering are found in Maximon69, Mo69 or Bjorken63. For more recent developments, see Jadach97 and Ward95.
