Proxyshare

ProxyShare was a peer-to-peer (P2P) network designed for achieving high download speeds. It achieves high download speed by uploading the shared files from its users' computers onto proxy servers. Maximum download speed can be attained when shared files are cached.

ProxyShare is a product of Globalnet Inc. and claims it is adware and spyware free, that it has no popups, nags, or banners and will always stay that way. It is thus unclear how Globalnet will ever make any money out of the product.
