Bhasarvajna (Sanskrit: भासर्वज्ञ, Romanised: Bhāsarvajña) was an Indian philosopher during the period of 10th century CE.[1][2] He was an eminent Naiyayika.[3] He was the author of the treatise Nyayasara on the Nyaya school of Indian Philosophy.[4][5][6]

Early life

Bhasarvajna was born in a Brahmin family. According to Vidyabhushna, Bhasarvajna must be from the Kashmir region of the Indian subcontinent. According to the chronology of the Naiyayikas, Bhasarvajna is considered to be lived long before the Naiyayika Udayanacharya.[7]
