From HandWiki

Jawshan Saqeer (Arabic: الجوشن الصغیر) is an Islamic supplication[1][2] which has been quoted in prominent books in a wider description than Du'a Jawshan Kabir;[3] and is named as a high dignity Du'a which is profitable against the calamity and oppressors.[4] It is also mentioned that reciting this supplication is effective to repel the enemy, too.[5]

Jawshan Saqeer has been mentioned as a high/worthful Du'a, and it is reported that: "... and when Hadi Abbasi intended to kill Musa ibn Jafar (Musa al-Kadhim), Musa recited it, as a result he dreamed of the Islamic prophet Muhammad that told him: Allah will annihilate your enemy."[6][7][8]

In regards to the references of the Du'a, it was narrated by Musa ibn Jafar (as the seventh Imam of Shia Islam), and Sayyed Ibn Tawus has quoted it in Muhaj al-Da'awat;[9] it has also been quoted by Kaf'ami (in al-Balad al-Amin),[10] Majlisi (in Bahar al-Anwar);[11] it is also available in Mafatih al-Janan of Sheikh Abbas Qomi.[12]
