The Common Informers Act 1588[lower-alpha 1] (31 Eliz. 1. c. 5) was an act of the Parliament of England.
Subsequent developments
Section 5 of the act was repealed by section 34(4) of, and the schedule to, the Limitation Act 1939 (2 & 3 Geo. 6. c. 21), which came into force on 1 July 1940.[1]
The whole act was repealed by section 2 of, and the second schedule to, the Statute Law Revision Act 1959 (7 & 8 Eliz. 2. c. 68).
