Focaal: Journal of Global and Historical Anthropology is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Berghahn Books, edited by Luisa Steur, and whose editor-at-large is Don Kalb. The journal is focused on the conjunction of anthropology and history as well on the incorporation of local research settings in the wider spatial networks of globalization or empire.[1]
