History

Launched in 2021, Afro Mobile was developed by African Mobile Media Ltd and represents a significant development in Uganda's digital media landscape.[3][2] The service positions itself as more than just a streaming platform, functioning as a movement aimed at reshaping African media by supporting local content creators and connecting African communities globally.[4]
