Filmustage is an AI-powered platform designed for filmmakers that streamlines movie production processes. The software is developed by Filmustage, Inc with headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, USA.[1][2]
History
Filmustage’s developer Filmustage, Inc. was founded in 2020 by Belarusian filmmaker Egor Dubrovsky and software developers Andrei Karalkou and Ruslan Khamidullin. During the same year, an Filmustage’s AI-based platform was officially introduced, focused on streamlining pre-production processes. Before its launch, the neural network underwent extensive training on thousands of well-structured scripts.[3][4]
In March 2023, Filmustage announced a new $550,000 funding round. The round was backed by VC firms Flyer One Ventures, Geek Ventures, Vesna Capital, Imaguru, Anton Borzov, Yurii Monastyrshyn, Valentine Zavgorodnev, and Ihor Kokotskyi.[5][6][7]
As of February 2023, Filmustage reports a substantial user base, boasting over 4,400 clients from large studios to independent filmmakers. By October 2023, according to official data on the Filmustage website, the number of registrations exceeded 9,500, with almost 15,000 projects created.[8][5][9]
