Guardian Firewall is a VPN, firewall, and password manager for iOS, which also blocks data and location trackers.[1][2] Its network crypto suite is IPSec (Using IKEv2).[3] The service, which claims to collect no user information,[4] takes the form of an app which first became available in June 2019.[5]
The company behind the product is Sudo Security Group.[6] Its founder is Will Strafach, a security researcher,[7][8] and the COO is Chirayu Patel.[9]
Guardian Firewall was featured in the show Lockdown in 2020.[10] Later that same year, Guardian began to be offered as an add-on service to the Brave web browser.[11]
