LIKE is a short video platform[4] for creating and sharing contents[5] established by Bigo Technology Pte. Ltd.[6] in August 2017[7]. In February 2019, it reached more than 20 million daily active users[8]. In June, 2019, LIKE was rebranded to Likee[9]. LIKE owns special effects ranging from Superme[10], Music Magic, 4D Magic[11] to dynamic stickers.[12] The application is available on the iOS and Android app marketplaces[13].

History

LIKE was initiated by Bigo Technology in 2017[14]. In February 2018, the APP had over 10 million downloads on Google Play. [15]

LIKE obtained 100 million registered users in November 2018.[16] And this number hit 200 million in April 2019.[17]

On 25 June 2019, LIKE app was rebranded as Likee, new features, like beauty function, makeup, follow and nearby tabs, have been brought.[18]
