MasterPlex QT is curve-fitting software published by the MiraiBio Group of Hitachi Software Engineering America, Ltd. It is designed for the analysis of data from the Luminex and Bio-Plex multiplexing platforms.

Features

  • Support for four parameter logistic (4 PL) and five parameter logistic (5 PL) nonlinear regression models with many options (remove outliers, compare curves, interpolate standard curves, extrapolate standard curves, enter dilution factors, etc.)
  • Weighting algorithms are provided to optimize the curve fit and account for heteroscedasticity
  • Quality control feature to automatically flag outliers based on lower limit of detection (llod), %CV, extrapolated values, etc.
  • 'Best Fit' automatically selects the optimal model equation and weighting algorithm with different parameters to optimize for: Root mean square error (RMSE), R squared, and Standard Deviation of % Recovery
  • Templates allow for users to save plate layout and standard/sample information saving time for subsequent analyses
  • Spreadsheet style pivot tables allow for viewing and manipulation of results
  • Merge multiple plate files to allow for cross-plate analyses (an example of this would be to use standards from one data file for analysis on another data file)

MiraiBio also publishes the commercial software MasterPlex ReaderFit and the free web-based DNASIS SmartNote.
