Open-Realty is a commercial web-based real estate listing management application created in 2002. It is designed to be easy to set up and use. The project was written in the PHP programming language.

License

Until version 2.5.8 the application was under BSD license with two extra clause.

With version 3.0.0, which was released on June 14, 2010, the application moved to a commercial license and is partially encoded.

Support

Until September 1, 2011 the community support forums were the main source of support to do with Open-Realty. Since that date support has switched to a new community support portal where most support is offered by company staff rather than other users.

Extensions

Extensions(addons and templates) can be used to extend Open-Realty adding additional features or a different design, there are three 'official addons' created by Transparent Technologies and they are IDXManager which allows website owners to import properties from a Multiple Listing Service (MLS) IDX FTP repository; Transparent RETS which operates almost identically to IDX Manager but imports images to the local website as well; finally there is TransparentMaps which uses the Google Maps API to embed maps into an Open-Realty website.

There are also many third party addons and templates some of which are free[1][2] and others are paid for.[3][4]

Support

As of version 3.3, Open-Realty now requires the server to be running PHP 5.6 to 7.0. Since version 3.0 the ionCube Loader v5.1.1+ for PHP 5.6 or v6.1+ for PHP 7.0 has been required to run the encoded script.
