Screencastify is a video recording Chrome extension developed by VLinks Media that can record videos with screen or webcam.[1]
Screencastify consists of three modes.[2] First is the browser tab mode, which can be used for microphone and embed webcam. Next is the desktop mode, which can be used for the same mode. And the last is the webcam only mode, which can be used for microphone and camera.[3]
The free version of Screencastify places its name as a watermark at the top-right corner of every recorded video, and each recorded video is limited to five minutes in length.[4]
The created video can be saved in MP4 formats.[5]
