Short description: Smart Inventory Software

StockTrim [1] is a Smart Inventory Forecasting Software that accurately predicts future stock requirements to conserve up to 40% of Working Capital

About StockTrim

Founded on Apr 28, 2017, StockTrim originated from the realization that small businesses were doing it unnecessarily tough when it comes to inventory planning and demand forecasting. Its co-founders come from distinctly different persuasions, Paul Simpson is a software engineer who saw the issue while working in other business process software, and Dominic Sutton owned a toy import, wholesale and retail business that nearly went bust through issues surrounding inventory control. StockTrim was created to be an antidote to the growing pains product businesses face almost daily.

Their Purpose is to make business more profitable by matching supply to demand.

Their Vision: To be the world's leading supplier of demand forecasting solutions to small & medium businesses.

Headquartered in New Zealand, StockTrim went global from day one, and now supports customers from all corners of the world. Their Kiwi ‘can-do’ approach should be evident from the customers' first contact, and their user case studies will support that geography is no barrier to responsive sales and support.

Software and Service

StockTrim has powerful capabilities for optimizing inventory levels, calculating safety stocks, and generating the most optimal purchase order plans. It integrates seamlessly with the the most trusted inventory management and e-commerce platforms such as Cin7, Dear, Intuit Quickbooks Online, Shopify, Unleashed, Vend, Xero, Big Commerce, Woo Commerce, Square, Zoho Inventory and MYOB. This is why StockTrim continues to get amazing feedback from their clients.

StockTrim’s intelligent forecasting algorithm reads your own data, makes sense of it for you, and then comes up with tailored demand forecasts and order plans specific to your business. It pulls relevant inventory data from your system including your products (for your current status), sales history (to base the forecasts from), Purchase Orders, Bill of materials (for manufacturers), Locations (for location specific forecasts), Customers (for customer forecasts). The system then runs through this data in demand analysis, and calculates your order plan including your optimal purchase orders. Depending on which system you use, you can then either send these purchase orders to your system (and manage the PO workflow there), or use StockTrim’s purchase order workflow to then eventually update your current inventory quantities in your system when the orders are received.
