The Cheetah Girls: Pop Star Sensations is a video game based on the band The Cheetah Girls. It was released for the Nintendo DS on October 9, 2007.[1][2] It is the sequel to 2006 video game The Cheetah Girls.

In the game, players join Galleria, Chanel, Dorinda and Aqua as they try to win the Ultimate Pop Star Competition.

Plot

The player plays as all four Cheetah Girls (Galleria, Chanel, Aqua, and Dorinda) as they compete in the Your Choice Live Pop Star Competition for the chance to perform on live TV.[3]

The game takes place in-between The Cheetah Girls 2 and The Cheetah Girls: One World.[4]

Gameplay

Throughout the game, the player plays through several levels which feature a variety of mini-games for all of the Cheetah Girls.

As Galleria, the player must listen to a piano piece and repeat it back on Galleria's piano. As Chanel, the player must correctly time the notes in a song by either by pressing "B", tapping the screen, or singing into the DS's microphone. As Dorinda, the player must trace a design using the touchpad as fast and as accurately as possible. As Aqua, the player is shown an outfit briefly and must replicate it by memory.

At the end of each level, the Cheetah Girls perform one of 5 songs. Circles appear on the screen with rings closing in on them and the player has to tap the circles right when the ring closes in.[5]

The player also takes on the role of stylist, selecting new outfits for the Cheetahs and can share them with friends.[4]

Sequel
