Software:Tunebite

From HandWiki

Tunebite is a proprietary media converter sold by Audials which is specifically designed to legally by-pass DRM protection from songs, audiobooks, videos, and movies. It offers support for over 100 audio and video formats. It also includes an audio-stream and webvideo recorder.[1]

Design

Tunebite legally copies DRM protected media by taking "advantage of the analog loophole".[2] By re-recording DRM protected media Tunebite does not modify the original DRM media; thereby, Tunebite allows an authorized owner of DRM media to play the media (played via Tunebite itself or any installed media player) while Tunebite records to any of 100 different formats.
