Template:Semitic languages

By default, this template will display as collapsed on article pages, and when opened will display only the three top-level groups: "East Semitic languages", "West Semitic and Central Semitic languages" and "South Semitic languages". To force the template to open, use |state=uncollapsed
For the template to display, when opened, the whole of a single subgroup, use one of the following:

or{{Semitic languages|expanded = East}}
{{Semitic languages|South}}
or{{Semitic languages|expanded = South}}
Initial visibility: currently defaults to autocollapse
To set this template's initial visibility, the |state=
parameter may be used:
|state=collapsed
:{{Semitic languages|state=collapsed}}
to show the template collapsed, i.e., hidden apart from its title bar|state=expanded
:{{Semitic languages|state=expanded}}
to show the template expanded, i.e., fully visible|state=autocollapse
:{{Semitic languages|state=autocollapse}}
If the |state=
parameter in the template on this page is not set, the template's initial visibility is taken from the |default=
parameter in the Collapsible option template. For the template on this page, that currently evaluates to autocollapse
