Tutorial:RTextDoc/AsciiDoc
Similar to LaTeX, AsciiDoc is also a mark-up language. AsciiDoc is designed for writing notes, documentation, articles, books, ebooks, slideshows, web pages, man pages and blogs. AsciiDoc documents can be translated to many formats including HTML, PDF, EPUB, man page. See asciidoc-syntax-quick-reference.
To AsciiDoc files using RTextDoc,
use the file extensions ".adoc", ".asc" or ".asciidoc". AsciiDoc in
RTextDoc is powered by ASciiDoctor, so please use its syntax.

Here is a simple example. Open this AsciiDoc file user-manual.adoc in the RTextDoc. Edit this file and then generate HTML, DocBOOk or PDF files. For example, if you select "AsciiDoc to HTML", one can generate this HTML file userguide. To convert text files with AsciiDoc tags, use either "macro" menu or toolbar. The following conversions can be done:
- ASciiDoc to HTML
- ASciiDoc to DocBook
- ASciiDoc to PDF
Note that the syntax is more closely follows ASciiDoctor implementation.
