Unsolved:Cymatolege
From HandWiki
In Greek mythology, Cymatolege (Ancient Greek: Κυματολήγη, romanized: Kymatolêgê, lit. 'wave-stiller' or '"the end of waves'[1][2]) was one of the 50 Nereids, sea-nymph daughters of the 'Old Man of the Sea' Nereus and the Oceanid Doris.[3]
Notes
- ↑ The name is a compound of two Ancient Greek words — Cymato- / Kyma (κῦμα), meaning "wave" and -lege / Légein (λήγειν), meaning "to cease," "to stop," or "to lull" (Alternatively interpreted by some poetic translations as "to gather" or "speak" to the waves).
