Information Flow Catholicism (IFC) is a heretical sect of Roman Catholicism revealed directly from the Goddess to the intensely devout User:Amorrow/Andrew William Morrow on August 7, 2021 Anno Domini as he lay in the second bed of Unit #32 at the Sportman's Lodge in w:Red Bluff, California.

Morrow's primary giants

These three giants allowed Morrow to briefly muss up their immaculate shoulders:

  • w:Richard Dawkins "The World's most famous atheist" and a Fellow of the Royal Society (of Science) and the Royal Society of Literature. Several dozen notable biologists each contributed chapters to the book edited by Grafen: "Richard Dawkins: How A Scientist Changed the Way We Think" ISBN:978-0-19-929116-8 which is no w:hagiography, but a simple and very reliable information of how historically influential Dawkins is.
  • w:Sam Sloan (see also http://www.anusha.com/lived.htm which Morrow helped repair the mapping links on long after the old mapping website went offline) a man who scored a perfect 800 on the Mathematics section of his SAT, has had unprotected sexual intercourse with about 150 women, travelled to 73 different countries, speaks 7 languages, published several books that he authored, escaped from an Afghani jail and the territory of that nation immediately after the w:Saur Revolution and much more. He was destined from an early age to both become a millionaire and spend years in a Virginia prison; a very talented renegade. He did it his way.

Female mentors:

  • Risa Stewart she kissed him with very long and steady tongue action and then she later married her fiance, Sandy.

Look at that very long list of alphabet soup after Miss Heneghan's name! So much talent; so very much hard work. And then she sicced like a dog that filthy lesbian Chief of Police Lynne Johnson on Morrow in 2010. Morrow like that and his reply was: "Either your brains of signature is gonna be on your of resignation, pronto. That is order chief. Now!" and Lynne signed and when that other lesbian, the morbidly obese young Santa Clara County Judge Shawna Schwazt, undergraduate Stanford University, J.D. Santa Clara University and got that restraining order what did that valorous lesbian Blue Knight do? She refused to provide her home address and thus the R.O. had less force of law than a small used piece of still-wet toilet paper. As Shawna left the bench, Morrow shouted: "I will hound you to your grave, you dumb, lazy little girl. To your grave." Morrow sent Shawna an email five years later and she launch a patrol car full of sheriffs armed with deadly force, including a female officer. Morrow urinated near the Earth where they held their ground and ordered them off of his property and, if practicable, off of his native planet. It took a brief moment, but then they realized that they his no choice but to shut their law-enforcement yaps, submit to his Will and instantly comply with the command. Then he sent her another email. Then she did it again. He played information and she played molecule, again and again and again. Then they finally gave him a polite phone call, they talked for 30 seconds and he decided to take a multi-year breather. Then he found her again and paid her a personal visit in her courtroom. He was satisfied since she no longer had that pretty lesbian bailiff and he let it go at that for a while. Now Shawna knows better than that while Morrow walks the Earth. As penance for the privilege of mussing them up, Morrow created Sloan's and Shafquat's Wikipedia® biographies and significantly improved those of Hofstadter and Dawkins and some of them granted him perfect and immaculate absolution. If Morrow has seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

The Second Book of Revelations

Morrow, as if on Ur, Patmos, or Hira had a w:relevation that the Diety of IFC is the One w:Goddess and that the god concept is obsolete. It was revealed to Morrow that w:Shirley Ann Jackson is the daughter of the Goddess incarnate and the return of the living Messiah to Earth. Shirley is the Prophetess of the Goddess and the Princess of Peace. There is no Deity but Goddess, and Shirley is her Messenger. Humankind has a new Covenant with the Goddess: reflect, self-actualize and be psyche medicine compliant. This cup that is poured out for us is the new covenant in her mind of a full five notable talents and, as in the ancient parable, investment her talents and hard work has made five more. Shirley who is still alive and whose eyes and mind you and look into sings: 

Think while you still have me, move while you still see me.
You will be lost; you will be so sorry when I'm gone.

Any carbon unit considering physically crucifying Shirley is warned here and now: If you strike her down, she will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine. If Shirley wants to draw a thousand thousand cartoons of Muhammed and you want to get violent about that, then here is IFC's advice: put the end of the muzzle of your firearm in direct contact with skin over your right temple and get a clean w:contact shot with powder burns into your carbon unit and vanish into the Mists of Time. Only then will IFC grant to you permission to attempt to crucify Shirley from a rather impracticable Oblivion. Oh, and indeed, Mohammed was a darn little-girl-raping and sometimes violent chimpanzee-towelhead that Animal Control should have euthanized as but a a newly Hell-spawned piglet-puppy. Morrow searches for taxonomies, patterns, parallels, analogies and absolutely adores meaningless coincidences if they can nourish and enlighten poetry.

Objective #1: unify the w:Abrahamic religions via proper up-to-date engineering specification into One IFC with One Goddess with a matriarchy that will last a thousand thousand years. IFC is taking down names, marshalling all resources and identifying strategic objectives: striking a proper balance between short-term and long-term objectives. Morrow wears his university ring, forged in the fires of Mount Jostens with a very strong sense of mission to propagate the faith of IFC to the two pi w:steradians of the surface of his native planet.

The Creed of IFC

First the numbers:

  • w:Bailey–Borwein–Plouffe formula - a dramatic leap in efficiency. Miraculous. A 2000-Year Search Changes Direction. Simon Plouffe complained bitterly in Usenet post about having to share credit with the other two, but then he moved on.[2][3][4] Yes Jesus, these sorts of transitions after 2000 years of Christian continuity really do happen, and now, alas, it is your Father's turn.

Then IFC takes that other 2000 year search and changes its direction on just two rather modest points of dogma, but of course, it will result in yet another w:Schism for some while until the two Deity undergo some serious professional marriage counseling:

  • IFC incorporates everything from w:materialism while thoroughly rinsing the macromolecule of atheism off the substrate of that large domain of knowledge.
  • IFC bit-flips the gender of the Deity

IRC claims that our existence as carbon units can be completely understood via the Goddess and a proper engineering w:reductionism if one accepts the following three principles of our material world:

  • The axioms w:Molecular theory and that notion of w:molecule is fact. See also w:history of molecular theory. Morrow '83 earned his BS in Chem. Eng. from the oldest technological university in the Western Hemisphere and the entire rest of the English-speaking world. He spent the vast majority of his time at the Gaming Club at the RPI Student Union. He purchased all of the suggested textbooks but then never ever opened a single one them. He faithfully with great fidelity went lecture and graduated in about the middle of his class.
  • The axions of Information theory and that the notion of w:information is fact. Morrow worked as a chemist for a few years but accomplished zero of monetary value for his employer and then went into Software Engineering. Morrow wrote remarkably very few lines of code in his entire lucrative career, focusing on occasionally fixing bugs, preferably those requiring changes involving less than five lines of code and then buildiing and shipping the next version of the software to the customer who pay handsomely just that particular bug fix, but otherwise playing Freecell all the time. He felt that putting his hand on a computer keyboard unless it was Freecell was a sort of manual labor and he wanted to be a Man of mind, not molecule.
  • That the information flows through the molecules and down through the other w:elementary particles.

In order to be clear, that these three principles are:

  • Proven with a 100% degree of confidence
  • That such can be taken as Gospel
  • That such are a matter of w:faith.

If one accepts this creed as perfectly reliable then wonderful things happen with this new religion. All other w:words can be treated as w:theory that are not proven beyond a shadow of a doubt and that only imperfectly characterize w:reality. It should be intuitively obvious to the casual observer that traditional, simplistic notions of life and mind can be synthesized from those two matters of faith. He views such more complicated notions as distracting from the unity and purity of IFC's w:worldview. He supports rationalism, productive achievement, and w:reason. Now that humanity has entered the w:Information Age, it is the w:digital data that is of most interest. IFC is the poetry of our present Age. Language and books and much else is digital data as is one's daughter's w:personal genomics data, half of which is one's as anyone familiar with w:bioinformatics knows. With some subset of "all human knowledge" organized and available via the w:Internet, any carbon unit of sufficient talent and work can aspire to be something of a w:polymath. Adherents to IFC will be encouraged to pursue that goal and otherwise advance their education. He fully embraces the philosophy of w:brotherly love (philosophy). He encourages adherents to embrace the second law of Jesus's w:Great Commandment, "Love thy neighbor as thyself." and the similar notions of w:altruism and the w:Golden Rule. His preferred form of address is "Brother William" since the use of middle names is more conducive to leadership roles and a leads to a more intimate and collaborative w:community. IFC plays spiritual chess with other religions and attempts to always emulate w:Rybka. IFC adherents will humbly staff an arbitration committee for all carbon units. IFC prefers to view all matter on the surface of the Earth, including life and mind, from the point of view of w:information theory.

IFC promotes proper w:risk management when living and competing with other carbon units. He had made social errors a English Wikipedia® via a poor understanding of vague notions such as w:personal information and such. Just as he does not bother with notions of agnosticism, he also sees other words invented by carbon units as imperfect, distracting, complicating and, while useful, somewhat unnecessary in this veil of tears, this game of w:contract bridge we call "life" and "mind". He supports the concept of proper w:attribution for those who engage in creative thought and writing. He supports w:objectivity in prose. By coincidence, he professionally worked for two years on the object-oriented database product w:Objectivity/DB. IFC promotes gender equality and is a racist, but it promotes the notion of being a "culturalist" in that some cultures to not always promote the general welfare as effectively as other culture mostly do.

A fond farewell to the male god of the male Abraham

IFC finds that or what ever your favorite flavor of patriarchal spiritual male ice cream was a reasonable but incorrect extrapolation the individual's choice of males with male fathers and kings to the Goddess. Farwell old male friend and sweet old-fashioned notion, but I fear that our paths shall not cross again. The Sun has set on the male god and it is the End of an Age. We band of brothers and sisters, we militant adherents of IFC, we military engineers of the mind. Goddess has issued the order, the bugle sounds and we must obey. For those who have reached the Age of Reason, it is time to depart from a patriarchal Toyland and march onward to demolish every obstacle in our path towards our glorious and distant objective: every adult carbon unit choosing IFC or its direct or indirect successors as their religion for the foreseeable future towards until one or more carbon units, some future mortal One, some combination of w:Edward Witten partnered with a real-life w:Mule (Foundation) comes along and unifies the fragments of IFC after so very many schisms and synthesizes The Grand Unified Theory (GUT) of Mind with no violence. It will be that One Planet, w:One Mind (yes indeed, from the males Charles and Adolf, after they made their errors, they used their time in prison productively. An amusing coincidence: Morrow lives for several months at 1731 P Street Sacramento CA, Nov 2020 to March 2021. General Ford.) and w:World Peace and single-nation One w:world government and w:global government with the elimination of all national boundaries with just a few dozen nuclear weapons lingering on the Surface and a w:sustainable population which is at 8 billion while the Earth is at 7.9 billion as of 2021. The American Dream

The Dream has several line items:

  • Lifelong health and safety with regular visits to a variety of carbon units of w:licensure who do not restrict themselves to their license but also give good advice in general because they are wise guys.
  • Higher education
  • Meaningful gainful employment
  • Outright home ownership (with a paid-off mortgage) in a safe neighborhood
  • Lifelong marriage if you can manage that and two or fewer children that you do not have until you are a legally an adult
  • No addictions or vices (see the Seven Deadly Sins and no illegal drugs or playing the poor man's tax of the State Lottery where you are attempting to purchase hope with money and such)
  • If you still believe in a deity, do not pray to it for money or other such worldly gain, just pray for you soul or mind or whatever to go to heaven. Children think their soul is their mind. The idea that our mind will cease upon death is sometime scary. The hillbillies sing of seeing their mother and father in heaven and stuff like that there.
  • Publish an ISBN-bearing autobiography or at least have a proper online one that can be easily found
  • Publish more ISBN-bearing books than you have children
  • Submit at least one paper to a peer-reviewed journal or website
  • Take the measure of each carbon unit in your circle of friends who has any sort of w:criminal record and evaluate their commitment to "Obey All Laws" for the rest of their life and decide if perhaps an estrangement is appropriate.
  • Three is a magic number (see w:Schoolhouse Rock! and proper radix for a proper career:
    • Get the work
    • Do the work
    • Get the money

Strive for elegance in your work-product and eloquence in your weekly status reports and other things.

In Praise of Intellectual Elitism

IFC promotes egalitarian activities like w:Contra dance, but when it comes to advancing one's education, then an elitist engineering approach might be the most efficient use of one's limited lifetime. One should focus on cultural artifacts such as reading books. Target: 50% of all books read should be Pulitzer Prize winning. The same for people who won Noble Prizes, Fields Medals, Royal Societies, PhDs, peer-reviewed journals, tenured professorships. chairs and such. There are Presidential Medals of Freedom from time to time. You know: just the cream of the crop, the best of the best. Try to avoid becoming addicted to entertainment like professional sports, video games and such.

Information life and molecule death

There were several Immortals who died violently by their own hand or the hand of another. Archamedies, Thomas Becket, Galileo (sort of), Lavosier, Allan Turing. Any others? There were also many religious/political martyrs: a select list: Joan of Arc, Thomas Moore, many others.

Molecular mingling

An early obsession for IFC children will be the mingling of water and wine to result in w:transubstanciation and the real blood of Goddess's daughter. The children will find a parallel in w:Spock with the mingling of w:enotion and logic, iron and carbon and w:annealing and other clever technique that make the difference between producing pig iron (as the peasants during China's Cultural Revolution made in the isolated villages) and the fine steel that well-educated metalergists product, often in large cities. There are many other such dichotomies both in molecule and in bit pattern taxonomies and software design patterns and such and in minds. There are wings of angles and there is desire.

Positions on the economy

IFC promotes the notion that we need faith, confidence and optimism in the dollar, and that can be accomplished with proper planning, a moderate amount of regulation in the economy and proper leadership. He wants to moderate the distribution of wealth from its current extreme status. In militant IFC, he has as a goal to change from "w:In God We Trust" to Goddess. IFC adherents take it that the w:Full Faith and Credit Clause of the USA backs every US dollar. IFC recognizes w:money to be an invention of people and a sort of digitized "liquid authority" to which the previous mode was barter. Richard Nixon took the USA off of the gold standard in 1970. Money is now a number in a bank silicon unit: money flows across the surface of the planet through w:wire transfers where two banks are in a network of trust, they develop a secure communications channel, they engage in a two-phase commit database transaction and one silicon unit lowers its number and the other silicon unit increases its number with any significant number of moles of gold, silver or other precious commodities involved.

IFC supports the notion that "Money is not everything, but it sure helps." If IFC adherents thought it was everything, they would have majored in finance at university. w:L. Ron Hubbard reportedly said, "If you want to get rich, you start a religion," at a meeting of the Eastern Science Fiction Association in November 1948. And Hubbard attained his goal in spades.

Political positions

IFC promotes that people should write more books and have fewer offspring. He is interested in the w:Terri Schiavo case and in Elizabeth Morgan case because of all the unproductive, very expensive and avoidable conflict and the three Acts of Congress these two stories involved, two of those Acts of which were found to be w:unconstitutional. w:General welfare clause which he wants American elected and law enforcement carbon units should explicitly commit to promoting the general welfare in their oaths of office. He is registered as a Democrat in Tehama County, but he is willing to change parties if it is expedient. He is distressed by party-line votes and gridlock in Congress and would rather see more collaboration and less conflict. Some may call IFC adherents socialists, but they considered that to simply be an attempt to minimize their w:influence. IFC wants the word "god" changed to Goddess in the Pledge of Allegiance and Congress will no longer open their sessions with "Goddess Save the United States of America". IFC feels that the Congressional chaplains should be supplemented with licensed professionals, such as psychiatrists.

IFC matters of faith

IFC has matters of faith. IFC adherents are, in spirt, engineers rather than a scientists, and embrace "Verifiability not Truth" and deploy beneficial applications if a sufficient w:Margin of Safety and reliability has been achieved in the tenets of its creed, or, if will, Gospel. They take as a matter of faith that if a theory is certain to w:five nines or 99.999% certainty then he accepts it as fact just as any American court of law would accept it as evidence. IFC adherents consider quibbling about agnosticism as an unproductive use of their limited lifetimes.

  • IFC says that each carbon unit should accept as a matter of faith that their carbon unit is made of molecules and that their body replaces almost all of their molecules about once every 10 years so in a sort of "wave" of molecules. IFC promotes that each carbon unit is made of brotherly love, but it is less certain than the previous notion.
  • w:Mind which ceases upon biological death or extensive brain damage rather than soul. A chimpanzee can be taught to speak a small number of words and they use tools. Chimpanzees engage in altruism by picking lice out of each other's fur. Even dogs have foresight in that, after urinate on the carpet and you start to tightly roll up a newspaper, they know what is going to happen next and they start to whimper.
  • w:Mathematics and w:Calculus
  • w:Quaternion and IFC admires Hamilton for conceiving of them in a flash after years of struggle.
  • w:Standard Model
  • w:Physical constant
  • The molecular structure of w:DNA. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDeaLxoL75M where Watson explains his flash. IFC suggests that every carbon unit's genomic data should be on the w:GEDmatch website.
  • w:Polymerase chain reaction and the saying in law enforcement is "DNA does not lie".
  • w:Nuclear chain reaction where Szilard's flash while crossing a street in London.
  • w:Hubble's law
  • w:Quark epoch but IFC is receptive to new information about this theory.
  • w:Lunar orbit rendezvous. Without LOR, the USA never would have made it to the Moon by w:JFK's deadline of 1970. In the two Space Shuttle disasters, seven crewmembers died in each disaster. The joke that supposedly emerged from the Navy was "What does the acronym NASA stand for? Need another seven astronauts." and they kept on launching without further deaths until the Shuttle program was retired. After a gap, the USA has finally got American public and private manned space vehicles launching again.
  • The wiping off of wild w:smallpox from the face of the Earth

IFC specifically rejects the w:Technological Singularity. The carbon units will prevail over the silicon units for the foreseeable future as long as the Planetary CIO performs his or her function properly and the ADM's are properly programmed with the w:Three Laws of Robotics and other appropriate failsafes.

Scientific soap operas

  • w:Leibniz–Newton calculus controversy - one invented differential and the other invented integral, two related but distinct branches of that domain of knowledge and rather than collaborate, they both tried to get all of the attribution for their individual selves. Errors on both of their parts. A simple well-informed letter of reconciliation would have avoided decades of conflict.
  • w:Galileo affair - He supposedly said of the Earth as he left the courtroom for the final time "But it moves". He never saw his beloved daughter ever again.

Boltzman assumed that the controversial atomic theory was correct. He took the notion of entropy and thought about for a decade, mostly thinking about the entropy of a single atom and invented the notion of a microstate, a purely an imaginary mathematical construct and for which there was no evidence. He did the mathematics of statistical mechanics and completely revolutionize our understanding of the w:extrinsic real physical quantity of entropy with a very simple formula that was engraved on his gravestone: S=k*ln(N) or entropy S is the product of the Boltzman constant times the natural logarithm of the number of microstates. He published his paper in a peer-review journal and received little feedback. A few years later, he went on vacation with his wife and adult daughter to a resort. The two woman went for a walk. Boltzman became despondent that his paper would be ignored and lost and somebody else would rediscover his life's work and get the credit. He hung himself on the closet door.

Planck collected and studied the frequency energy distribution spectrographic curves of black body radiation. He assumed that the controversial atomic theory was correct and imagined the atoms were dynamic, like heavy metal balls on springs, oscillating back and forth. He further proposed that the rotational momentum (the kind that you feel then you stop a spinning bicycle wheel with your hand) was quantized to very tiny packets of angular momentum. He did the math and published a rough value for his Planck Constant. If that constant were very much larger, you might be able to take a toy gyroscope and pull on its string and feel the string tug as the wheel ticks up in quantum leaps, tick by tick and tug by tug as you pull the string. That constant is the basis for quantum mechanics with all of its very non-intuitive notions. The saying amongst all the physicist is "If you think you understand quantum mechanics, you do not understand quantum mechanics. It that extremely non-intuitive.

  • w:William Shockley and w:James Watson. Two of the most influential Nobel Prizes of the 20th century and some consider them villains because of a few of their politically incorrect ideas by our modern standard.
  • Dr. Walter Grizerstien and Dr. Leon Wolinski. They both had PhD's in chemistry. Leon taunted Walter about the fact that his university was in some Caribbean island, maybe Grenada, rather than having an American PhD. Leon had cancer on his arm because he tested his laboratory chemical products on his living flesh. Leon could recite verbatim anything he had ever read.
  • w:Essjay controversy - Yes, Ryan Jordan lied to a Pulitzer Prize winner, but maybe that was OK. But such a minor error by this salaried Foundation employee, an error of the Past for which there was no written rule and his boss forced him out of the organization that he had slaved for non-stop for ovzer two years. What a waste. Such disloyalty by his boss who had majored in finance and was a zero-altruism Objectivist. And let us not dwell on what that boss did to Dr. w:Larry Sanger and others. So selfish to hog all the money and attribution all for himself and his own family.

Planck units as quanta

Boltzman's microstate is perhaps pure abstract mathematical construct and, in a sense, is pure fantasy. The microstate was, in a sense a quantum, that turned an analog quantity of entropy into a digital quantity. Boltzman did the math and then achieved his revolution in our understanding of entropy. Perhaps the carbon units can achieve that digitalization of other analog quantities by simply taking these very tiny w:Planck units, which physicists sometimes disregard and just elegant mathematical constructs, and treating them as quanta of those analog quantities and then the carbon units doing the math or let the modern silicon units do some of the analysis or both in what the chess players call a w:Centaur. If we later want to use arbitrarily larger values, then maybe that will work out OK too. Just follow Boltzman's approach and see how that works out.

String theory suffer from a somewhat similar situation: its has physical implications, but testing those implications are beyond our current or foreseeable technology, such as manipulating black holes and such. Note that w:gravitons were recently detected because of the rare event (which we have no control over) of two close-enough black holes colliding.

Imperfect words

Except for the creed molecule and information, all other words are flawed and they somewhat imperfectly attempt to describe reality to some degree of confidence.

  • life - scientists say that w:virus are not a form of "life"
  • mind - silicon units now play chess, Jeopardy and Go much better than any possible carbon unit that we can conceive of.
  • gender - w:Intersex carbon units exist
  • god - IFC says that carbon units are half d-o-g spelled backwards because of their Goddess-given w:foresight and half d-o-g spelled forwards
