Percocypris pingi is a species of cyprinid in the genus Percocypris.[1] It inhabits Yunnan, China [1][2] and possibly Laos and Myanmar.[1] Assessed as near threatened on the IUCN Red List,[1] it has a decreasing population.[1] It has a maximum length of 44.0 centimetres (17.3 in)[2] and is considered harmless to humans.[2] It is used for food both locally and nationally.[1]
