Gymnopilus mitis is a species of mushroom-forming fungus in the family Hymenogastraceae.

Description

The cap is 2 to 3 centimetres (0.8 to 1.2 in) in diameter.[1]

Habitat and distribution

Gymnopilus mitis has been found growing on wood in Maine, Michigan, and California , during the months of July and December.[1]
