Yantarogekko is an extinct genus of gecko found trapped in Eocene-aged Baltic amber. While initially considered to be the oldest known member of Gekkonidae,[1] the remains, which consist of the anterior half of a body lacking a skeleton, have been considered by some scholars to be too fragmentary to assign to any modern gecko family.[2]
