The white-throated seedeater (Sporophila albogularis) is a species of bird in the family Thraupidae. It is endemic to northeastern Brazil .

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and heavily degraded former forest.
