Balto is a real-time AI guidance platform for contact centers.
Overview
Balto was founded in January 2017 by Marc Bernstein, Davidson Girard, and Chris Kontes.[1] Balto AI listens to both sides of a conversation during a call and visually prompts agents with the best things to say, live on every call.[1][2] [3]
In 2019, Balto acquired $3MM in funding, in October 2020,[4] acquired $14.2MM and raised $37.5 million in a Series B funding round in 2021 bringing total funding to $51.2 million.[5][6]
Balto partnered with The Vanella Group, Inc in 2021, and CCaaS and UCaaS vendors in 2022, including: Genesys, RingCentral,[7] NobelBiz, Talkdesk, 8x8.[8][9][10]
As of January 2022, Balto has guided over 100 million conversations around the world through its conversational AI technology.[11]
