Football Manager 2024 (officially abbreviated as FM24) is a football management simulation video game developed by Sports Interactive and published by Sega. It is part of its Football Manager series. It was released on November 6, 2023.[1]
For the first time in the series, players can transfer their save files over from the previous game. Therefore, plays can transfer their save files from Football Manager 2023 and continue playing them in 2024. This feature will also continue in future games, allowing 2024 save files to be played in Football Manager 2025 — which also means players could also play their 2023 saves in 2025 and beyond as well. Those using this feature will be unable to unlock Achievements, however.[2][3]
Controversy
Sports Interactive was accused of false advertising over the inclusion of the J.League in the game, though official logos, kits, and player photos were not included with the release as advertised in 2023.[4]
