Bluey: The Videogame is a 2023 adventure video game developed by Artax Games and published by Outright Games. It is based on the television series Bluey. It was released on 17 November 2023 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S and Nintendo Switch.
Gameplay
Players explore and solve puzzles in four different maps based on Bluey: the Heeler house and a nearby playground, creek, and beach. Some of the minigames involve platforming and puzzle-solving. Up to four people can play at once, taking the roles of the Heeler family.[1]
Development
Artax, a Spanish game development studio, worked with Ludo Studio and the TV show's voice cast when making Bluey: The Videogame.[2] The game was released by Outright Games for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Nintendo Switch on 17 November 2023.[3]
Reception
Bluey: The Videogame received "mixed" reviews, according to review aggregator Metacritic.[4] Reviews criticised the short length and high price but said it replicates the look and feel of the TV series.[1][5][6][7]
