Miridus quadrivirgatus is a species of plant bug belonging to the family Miridae, subfamily Mirinae.

Description

The species is brownish coloured and is 9–11 millimetres (0.35–0.43 in) long. Red and cream-coloured stripes run down the head, pronotum, and scutellum, and the cuneus is red.[1]

Distribution

It is mainly found in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Canary Islands, Croatia, France , Germany , Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain , Switzerland , the Netherlands, Ukraine and Britain I.[2] In Britain, it is found between Suffolk and Pembrokeshire.[1]
