The Puerto Rican euphonia (Chlorophonia sclateri) is a bird species in the finch family, Fringillidae that is endemic to the island of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean. It was formerly considered as a subspecies of the Hispaniolan euphonia.[1]

Distribution and habitat

It is found in Puerto Rico.[2] Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, and heavily degraded former forest.
