The list of trans-Neptunian objects is an open-ended attempt to list the farthest known objects in the Solar System. This is a list of current heliocentric distances. In theory, the Oort Cloud could extend over 120,000 astronomical unit|AU (2 ly) from the Sun.

This table includes all observable objects currently located at least twice as far as Neptune.[1]
Many near-parabolic comets such as C/1858 L1 are currently further from the Sun.
  1. A crude estimate based on a short observation arc.
