Gnathophis microps, the smalleye conger,[2] is an eel in the family Congridae (conger/garden eels).[3] It was described by Emma Stanislavovna Karmovskaya and John Richard Paxton in 2000.[4] It is a marine, deep water-dwelling eel which is known from western Australia , in the eastern Indian Ocean. It dwells at a depth range of 200–320 metres.[3]
