Hylarana hekouensis (common name: Hekou frog) is a species of true frog in the genus Hylarana. It is named after its type locality, Nanxi in Hekou County, southern Yunnan, China . The only other location it is known from is in the southeastern Guangxi, on the Vietnamese border; it is not recorded from Vietnam but is expected to occur there.[1]
