Mimio Notebook is a software application for real-time capturing of input from an interactive white-board system (e.g. a SMARTBoard) via touch sensors. The suite features many exclusive functions such as a built-in "marker" program similar to the SMARTBoard's and a feature that hides parts of pages in a presentation to which the presenter has not yet advanced.
Exclusive Functions
Unlike the Smartboard, which requires a marker to be picked up,[1] mimio allows the user to select a font weight and color and write with his or her finger.[2]
There is also a spotlight function which allows a single part of the screen to be visible for focusing the attention of an audience.[2] The visible part of the screen is movable by the user of the program.
