FDDB – The Fulldome Database is an online community for people who are involved in the fulldome medium. FDDB is an independent provider of information about fulldome technologies which focuses on fulldome shows, events and news.
FDDB is show-oriented and provides an online database where planetarium operators and fulldome professionals can get information about fulldome shows. Data can be browsed dynamically by numerous parameters: “genre”, “content”, “video format”, “license type”, “production company”, “director”, etc.
Mission
FDDB's main goal is to stimulate the overall fulldome creativity.
FDDB provides a web platform where information can be published and shared online. Private companies, planetariums, independent filmmakers, students as well as other sorts of fulldome producers can freely add content to FDDB.
Further details
FDDB is not property of any planetarium vendor or video production company and does not produce, nor distribute, any in-house or third parties’ fulldome shows.
FDDB is available as a free service.
